There's just something so unexplainably comforting about seeing your hand-made product actually made by hand. With this in mind, we must all tip our hats to Graham Glen who was not only allowed entry onto the sacred grounds of the Brooks Saddle factory in Smethiwick, England, but also permitted to snap some fantastic images of the illustrious - and rather laborious - process and share them with Wired. While the hand-cut leathers and naked-eye detailing are exceptional, it's Brooks' allowance and acceptance of minor human flaws that make these saddles unique, giving the buyer a one-of-a-kind story and product that hasn't changed all that much since Mr. Brooks filed his first saddle patent way back in 1866.
