Let's hear it for the boys
Here in NY it's men's market week... or it was, now the shows move to Paris and Berlin. Yesterday I spent the day wandering the trade shows to see what the boys have been up to. The Capsule trade show now has two locations filled with dapper designs any fresh faced man would want to get his hands on. This season I noticed more men's accessories then ever before. I am loving the idea that men are really taking the time to add all the details to their outfits. Here are a few things that definitely caught my eye and had me wanting to know more. Cutler & Gross, who celebrates the individual rather than the label, are an off the charts eye wear company from London. Even though they have been around for 40 years, they are still defining style and creating must have trends. Their resume even includes a collaboration with Mulberry!

Menswear line, Factotum, would definitely be my favorite line if I were a guy. These pieces are all made with such intricate details and feel like butter in your hands. The tailored designs favor military-style and work wear details galore. This Japanese line is ahead of its time and breaking the grounds for some serious style heads.

There really is nothing wrong with a man purse, in fact, I find a man extremely sexy when he's carrying that perfect bag. Temple Bags are truly the ultimate man accessory. These bags are made to be used, abused, packed, trashed and loved. I imagine that they get even more amazing over time.

Nothing like some color to stop you in your tracks or a polka dot to get you going. Victor Glemaud had nailed another collection. Since 2006 Glemaud has been designing men's wear for the dapper dude who likes to keep his look fresh and clean but filled with pops of color. There were lots of sweaters hanging on his racks that I would love to wrap myself in. There are definitely plenty of unisex knits to go around!

Some key trends on the mens frontier are, geometric prints. Still sticking around plaid. Puffy jackets are back. The men's boot is still a workmen's dream. Navajo has not left the building. The man purse is your number one accessory. Round sunnies are your eyes' best friends. Harlequin prints are gonna be on your back. The polka dot won't die. Cable knits, thermals and soft draped cottons are on! Next month will be women's market. Can't wait!
