The art of double exposure has seen quite the resurgence with the downtown set wandering the streets with newfangled lomographic toys in tow. New York Times staff photographer Damon Winter has upped the ante with a new series titled Neighbors, which contrasts large-format images based on colors, locations, demographic and social identification. Along with the altogether coolness of the images, Winter's work is a fresh take on today's photography, forcing the viewer to question both the content and the individual's surrounding environment(s). While the entire collection is altogether fantastic, I must admit that my favorite is the image of the Brooklyn Bridge at both day and night. Have a look for yourself below, and check out the full collection here.
